I’m a former Air Force intelligence and cyber operations officer, and I used to help improve your banking experience as a process engineer at a Fortune 100 company. I’m also an ASQ Certified Black Belt, which basically means I’m obsessed with finding the most effective and streamlined way to do things.
But enough about acronyms, let’s talk about yarn.
I traded in my camo pants and combat boots for knitting needles, and brought my love for strategy and efficiency along for the ride.
Channeling my passion for efficiency into the world of knitting pattern design has brought some pretty exciting results.
In the past five years, I’ve designed over 55 knitting patterns, collaborated with amazing yarn companies like Mad Tosh, Biscotte, Baah Yarn, Lion Brand, and Miss Babs. My first knitting project was a furry scarf with more holes than fabric (we all start somewhere!), but thankfully, I’ve improved a bit since then.
I was even approached by a major publisher to write Mosaic Knitting Workshop, which became an Amazon new release best-seller in several categories.
I bring a unique blend of creative passion and strategic thinking to the table.
I’ve built a thriving email list of over 7,000 engaged subscribers, consistently selling patterns daily (over $1000 in sales most months, while working part-time!), I brought in nearly $3000 in revenue during the 2024 Black Friday Season, and even host the annual Knit Your Own Adventure Virtual that generated over $25,000 in revenue in 2024. I love finding new revenue streams that work!
Plus, I’m currently planning my first in-person luxury knitting retreat in 2026 (because we all could use a vacation!).
